Co-hosting Sportschannels Monday Night Magazine and the Sunday Morning NFL show is South Floridas own Joe Zagaki. Joe has been a sports anchor and reporter for WFOR-TV since 1994.

Joe is a well-known South Florida sports authority and has spent his entire career in Florida. He began his broadcast career on radio in 1979 on WIOD doing play-by-play and color commentary. In 1992, he went to sports Radio WQAM where he was program director. At the same time, he was co-anchor of a weekend round-up sports show on WBFS.

Joe believes in giving back to the community. In 1992, after Hurricane Andrew had devastated parts of South Florida, Joe and his crew flew in supplies to stranded hurricane victims. On one such mission, his plane crashed leaving Joe as the only survivor. From his hospital bed he made sure the salvaged cargo reached its intended destination. In addition to his help with hurricane Andrew victims, Joe has been honored by the Leukemia society and the Hollywood Committee of 100.

Joe currently resides in Davie with his wife Cheryl and their daughter Haley Jo. Joe is very active and loves to golf, ski and cycle. Be sure to catch Joe and all the exciting NFL action this fall on SportsChannel.
