Jim Mandich
Co-Host, Sunday Night NFL

Co-hosting Sportchannels Sunday Night NFL will be Jim Mad Dog Mandich. Airing at 9:00 pm on Sunday nights, this live show will recap the days NFL scores and highlights.

Mandich, originally from Solon, Ohio, earned a football scholarship to the University of Michigan where he achieved Academic All-American status each of his four years. In 1969 Jim closed out his college career in fashion by being elected team captain and team MVP, as well as earning Consensus All-American honors as the Wolverines tight end .

Jim, nicknamed the Mad Dog, was the first pick of the Miami Dolphins in the 1970 NFL Draft. During his seven seasons as a Dolphin, Jim was a member of the 1972 undefeated team and also collected two Super Bowl rings. Mad Dog finished his playing career with the World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers in 1978.

Jim Mandich is also well known in south Florida as a successful businessman. Hes the co-owner and president of Lotspeich Company in Miami, Florida. Despite his busy schedule, Jim finds the time to get involved with charities such as the Miami Project To Cure Paralysis and the Dorthy Shula Foundation.
